each of these beautiful dhurries are 60-70 years old, made female artisans in punjab. these women weavers compose their own pieces, originally intended as part of the bridal gift which women would hand knot from a very young age. due to the nature of handmade vintage rugs, there might be slightly faded colors or worn areas, or minor imperfections adding special character to the rug.
