an update to our favorite shreya dress from our 2018 debut collection. featuring inside tie closure, two external side ties, micro ruffles at the empire seam, and billowy sleeves. the longer of our two shreya dresses, we love it worn with a simple sandal or clog. our stripes are handloomed by our partners in madhya pradesh, our ikat is handloomed in south india, and our shreya dresses are handstitched by our incredible partner family, the saheli women.

the saheli women community center is a women-run enterprise employing 40+ female artisans in the village of bhikamkor, rajasthan. collaborating with a few small fashion brands provides these women with not only a happy work environment and fair wages, but skill development, health education, and insurance. under the umbrella of iphd india, the saheli enterprise also funds sponsorship for young girls to attend school, holds workshops on female hygiene and health, and runs the only female health clinic in the village. the saheli women have transformed the village of bhikamkor, and, with training and guidance, hope to eventually replicate this project in other villages across india. the word “saheli” in hindi means “female friend,” and these women create goods that are meant to be treasured, symbolic of the power of friendship, respect, gender equality, and fair wages.
