saheli cream madhu caftan
in partnership with the saheli women, based in rural rajasthan. our madhu caftan is made from recycled khadi raw silk fabric, this time in rustic cream. long cascading sleeves and flowing body, with a conservative plunging vneck, we love this caftan worn out with a low heel, or poolside with a flip flop. on a recent trip to visit the saheli women, we were excited to learn their new embroidery and crochet skills, and wanted to implement them in a few easy styles. at the neckline and cuff, pale beige crochet borders the hand loomed khadi, and embroidered florals are found on the upper back. we were thrilled with how these subtle details transformed the simple designs!
- Composition: body is 100% khadi silk
- Fit: model is 5'4" and wears XS/S

- Care: machine wash cold or dry clean (after wash, fabric will get slightly softer)
